Dr. Li received the Doctor of Eng. degree in Petroleum Storage and Transportation Engineering from China University of Petroleum (Beijing) in 2017. From Dec. 2017 to July 2019, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Computational Transport Phenomena Laboratory (CTPL), King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia. He currently works as an assistant professor in Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology, China. His research interests focus on efficient and robust algorithm for multiphase flow and turbulent flow, model reduction method for porous media flow, and hydrogen transportation. Dr. Li has published 30+ SCI indexed papers in peer-reviewed journals and 30+ conference papers. In 2015, he was awarded the 1st Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation. In 2018, he was awarded the 2nd Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award by Ministry of Education, China. Dr. Li won the only one Best Poster Paper Award in International Conference on Computational Science (ICCS), which was awarded by Springer. Dr. Li serves as the editorial member of AIME, guest editor of CMES and OGST, peer reviewer of Physics of Fluids, Journal of Computational Physics, Computational Geoscience, etc.
